Stay away from Toshiba, They sell lower quality parts to U.S. then other countries. This was told to me by a repair shop in Thailand. My F-15 Qosmio overheated from a game, and consequently it was scrap. This after only 1 year. Towards the end the battery was useless, not holding a charge, there was 5 dead pixels right out of the box, it was noisy with the fans always running, bulky and the speakers crackled after 4 months of ownership. I have been most happy with my current non Toshiba laptop. Its my mission to share my experience with Toshiba.

I have a satellite and it's perhaps the best laptop I've ever purchased. It's user friendly and customer service is great.

Bought a Toshiba Satellite 1135 in late 2005. Worked so great, I bought a second one. Unfortunately, shortly after the warranty period expired, the DC Jack input failed. I discovered that it was a known weakness. Toshiba would not do anything other than offer to replace the motherboard if I paid full price for the motherboard, shipping and labor. Such a deal! In any event, Toshiba lost a customer and postive referral source. If a company will not fix a known defect, it does not offer the type of product I personally require.

The Toshiba Laptop which i have bought is a black piece called Toshiba Tecra. It has a beatiful screen which can be rotated in either directions thus giving proper shift in the vision. It helped me a lot in giving the business seminars and presentataions.

The designers have kept an eye on weight, given that most people who use this, will also want to travel a fair bit.Later i owned a Toshiba Satellite notebook which geared towards people looking for quality with a mid range price. The Toshiba Qosimo is great for people having greater rooms.

I have purchased a brand new Toshiba laptop just based on the brand name Toshiba. It has provided me the best technology in the market. Toshiba has the best customer support and better replacements warranty's thus making it a best laptop worth owning. It has a good picutre resolution and better sound fidelity and equipped with all enhanced features..
