I bought an HP laptop 1.5 years ago. It broke within the first 4 months, so I got it fixed and it broke within 3 months. Fixed again and lasted upto the 12 month mark and it died. I just through it in the bin. I will never buy HP again. Terrible. Same thing happened to my boss.

Just after 1year my HP pavillion Crashed on me. Send it for repair, 3 months later, same problem. Sending it for repair, and buying a Panasonic (more expensive but at least I will have three year warranty)

Problems from the start. Started out by simply running too hot. In a short time the wireless card went out. Now, the hard drive won't even respond to the recovery disc. Good thing it's under warranty, though I would prefer no problems. This is also my first time using Windows Vista. I have to say I'm not impressed. Overall, if I could of foreseen the disappointment, I definately wouldn't have bought an HP Pavilion. Next time I'm buying a Apple, sorry HP.

I purchased a loaded HP Pavilion 9330us in April, 07 from Frys Electronics ($1700). All went great for about 13 months when the mother board died. I sent it back to HP for repair ($425). When I got it back, I heard a fairly loud fan for the first time since owning it. I called HP and asked why the fan never ran before and if that could have been the cause of the MB failure. The only answer I got (over and over) was.."You did not meet your contractual obligation to call us about this problem within the warranty period. There is nothing we will do." How about HP's contractual obligation to provide a working product on day one? How was I supposed to know a quiet laptop was a bad thing? Lessons learned: 1) Never buy an HP computer again. 2) Never call HP tech support and 3) Never use HP for repair work. I buy computers for our office and have purchased over 15 desk tops from Dell in the last 5 years and finally decided to try an HP Laptop. Dell is not perfect but they make a product that lasts. HP - stick to printers, something you are good at.

I have an Pavillion dv6000t notebook & would not recommend this product. The harddrive has been replaced and now an issue with the power (will not turn on). The computer is less than a year old and HP will not fix the problem (I have purchased the 2 year extended warranty). Customer service reps were rude and condiscending and absolutely no help. Basically I have a $1600.00 non-functioning computer that is less than a year old. BUYER BEWARE.

Hi friends, I have bought a new HpPavilion laptop. I am using it for 3 years without any problem. It is very feasible for playing games. I often play games in this laptop and have not faced single problem with the performance of the laptop. The multimedia tasks are directly proportional to the performance of the laptop. As the processor is very efficient for the 3D games and multimedia work I can tell with confidence that it gives greater performance for the office use also.

The new Hp Pavilion is a 15.4" widescreen notebook which includes the latest Intel mobile CPU and chipset. The Hp Pavilion weighs an average of 2.5kg with a 6 cell battery, which places it among the lighter notebooks with a 15.4" display. This version is reviewed here has the Core Duo T2300 CPU, the ATI X1400 GPU, a 100GB 5400rpm hard disk and a DVD burner.Simply an awesome combo...

Hi..I bought a new Hp Laptop around 3 weeks back. Its has automatic doors that open and close when you push a button on the hardware box. Its operation is very simple although the doors consist of filmsy plastic bits. The keyboard is a bit smaller than most of them. My Hp Laptop is in a stylish grey color. The mouse matches the computer in color. It has two buttons and a scroll wheel and fairly generic.
