| |  | Laptop is good, but for Canadian customers avoid dell like the plague until shipping is other than Purolator. They *will* lose your shipment, they *will* lie to you, and they may never even deliver your laptop. |

| |  | I purchased a loaded HP Pavilion 9330us in April, 07 from Frys Electronics ($1700). All went great for about 13 months when the mother board died. I sent it back to HP for repair ($425). When I got it back, I heard a fairly loud fan for the first time since owning it. I called HP and asked why the fan never ran before and if that could have been the cause of the MB failure. The only answer I got (over and over) was.."You did not meet your contractual obligation to call us about this problem within the warranty period. There is nothing we will do." How about HP's contractual obligation to provide a working product on day one? How was I supposed to know a quiet laptop was a bad thing? Lessons learned: 1) Never buy an HP computer again. 2) Never call HP tech support and 3) Never use HP for repair work. I buy computers for our office and have purchased over 15 desk tops from Dell in the last 5 years and finally decided to try an HP Laptop. Dell is not perfect but they make a product that lasts. HP - stick to printers, something you are good at. |

lenovo has given me the best deal and hey i also have tv tuner i my laptop.i got 3 years of warranty free with wi-fi router which is also free.
so friends i recomend you go and purchase LENOVO |

| |  | i bought an acer aspire series. this laptop has alot of hardware issues. the monitor occassionally blanks out and flickers, has many problems launching many different programmes. switching on the in-built webcam and microphone causes the laptop to freeze 90% of the time. |

| | | I have ASPIRE 5920 recently , this one of the worst laptop i have seen . Full of hard ware issues like some some time Speakers ,batery , Lock problem is worst. Recomendations -ACER MAKES LIFE WORST..................... IT's true if don't belive just buy one |

| | | I have an Pavillion dv6000t notebook & would not recommend this product. The harddrive has been replaced and now an issue with the power (will not turn on). The computer is less than a year old and HP will not fix the problem (I have purchased the 2 year extended warranty). Customer service reps were rude and condiscending and absolutely no help. Basically I have a $1600.00 non-functioning computer that is less than a year old. BUYER BEWARE. |

| |  | I bought this Fujitsu Lifebook S7110 on a business trip in Singapore. Great laptop but with one major irritating flaw .... some genius decide to kill the homepage function and it defaulted to Fujitsu's homepage in Singapore everytime I get into Explorer ! I can't change it, tried changing the internet options, even tried editing registry but nothing works. I'm a "captive" customer and have to see their advertisements everytime I login. I'll NEVER buy another Fujitsu as long as I live ! |

| | | We got a Lenovo Z60. The initial startup proved completely disfunctional as the computer was slow and the "security" system paralyzed the system. We had to wipe the computer and start over with the "security" feature absent. We run fine now with Windows XP firewall and McAfee virus protection. Lenovo also managed to send our computer to the wrong address, delaying delivery for a month and still haven't resolved everything. Next time, it's a DELL.

| | | Iam Rosy, I recently bought an Acer laptop. It has a sturdy body with black complexion. It gives me an immense pleasure in using this machine. I enjoy playing games, but sometimes the screen flickers and the game stops abruptly. I have lodged a complaint against this but i haven't recieved any solutions for this. |
