| |  | I have had a Dell Inspiron E1505 for about two years now and can honestly say that it is the worst laptop I have ever owned. It has been hundreds of dollars to keep running on top of the initial cost. Help lines are horrible to deal with and I would never suggest this brand to any person (not even an enemy). Avoid this brand! |

| | | i have an acer aspire 5590 and i was really excited about it from the start because it looked pretty good... unfortunately, looks can be deceiving... this machine has been the worst piece of investment... it has lots of hardware issues and worst of all i had it bought from china, i live in Uganda so getting any help has been very difficult and expensive, the online help centre is not helpful... its just a laptop owner's nightmare... right now, the laptop keeps blacking out every ten minutes on top of other hard drive issues.... being an architecture student, i'm just praying for a new laptop now... good luck to those that buy acer laptops in the future |

| |  | I brought a Fujitsu s7210 on a business trip to Singapore. It’s exceeded my expectations. Previously I was a firm Sony laptop user but not now. Apart from all the fancy features what I like is the long battery life, dull screen - less eye stain than the glossy screens you see in the shops, and its uses XP. | |  | Problems from the start. Started out by simply running too hot. In a short time the wireless card went out. Now, the hard drive won't even respond to the recovery disc. Good thing it's under warranty, though I would prefer no problems. This is also my first time using Windows Vista. I have to say I'm not impressed. Overall, if I could of foreseen the disappointment, I definately wouldn't have bought an HP Pavilion. Next time I'm buying a Apple, sorry HP. |

| | | I have a Acer Aspire 6920 series and I purchased it 5 months ago and I loved it. Great speed, great graphics,great screen display. I used it for photo work BUT guess what? HARD DRIVE crashed, tech support is mediocre at best and they don't offer a prepaid shipping box to send the unit in for service. You are responsible for either installing a new hard drive which they send you (they require a credit card so you will return the old drive to them), or you send it to them. |

| |  | I have had a Mac for years, along with all the mac/apple related products (iPod, software, etc.). Then, they switched from .mac to MobileMe and five years worth of my contacts were missing. Apple Support told me that it was my fault that the contacts were lost and then offered me an extra 3 months free of Mobile Me (about a $25 value). A year or so ago, I would have said buy a mac and all the related products, but you should seriously shop around. I find it very unlikely that I will continue to use Apple brand products. |

| | | Recently acer is launching a new notebook. It's very small and cute. the name is Aspire one....I think acer is trying to improve their design and more trendy now...I like very much Aspire one and the color is cute , too. I hope it can be on the market soon! |
