I bought this computer 5 weeks ago for my son. He was setting it down and the LCD screen broke. I called customer service and they won't honor it under the warranty. My cost to fix it will probably be $200. I also got a run-around, the first two people I talked to apparently didn't want to tell me that it was my problem. I thought the Toshiba name was good- now I'll never by another product of any sort from Toshiba of any kind. We've had Acer lap tops wtih flawless performance and good customer support, I'm going to go back to them.
The model number of this one was C655D.

The Toshiba Satellite C660-18C has a DVDRW drive and an HD screen so it is the perfect multimedia laptop. Saw some listed at www.laptopoutlet.co.uk and just jumped on the chance to get one for my little brother. Have to say, I wasn't disappointed at all.
