My Qosmio X305/WOO gaming laptop totally rocks. I LOVE IT! The model designation is X305/WOO for the australian market. Yes, i reside down under. This notebook is definitely a gaming beast. Have allready experimented with \' Crysis\' on the \" High\" setting. There was no lag or jumpiness. The details in game are well defined. Obviously for down under, our specifications on Qosmio will vary only in context of hard drive formats. My Qosmio X305 has the 5400 rpm drive for data storage. The gaming is set up on my 7200 rpm drive. The screen resolution is about 1080 x 1050. For australia we do not get the solid state drive with flash memory. Also our qosmio X305 lappys, do not have three video cards. Never mind , because the one Nvidea card has a dedicated video memory of 1gb. But all the other specs are the same as overseas. 4gb of system ram in DDR3 technology. We have that 2.53ghz cpu The feature set as in port connections is quite sufficient. I have only had my qosmio for two days. YES! That is how new an owner i am. My current older satellite pro p100 has \" WIN XP \" on it. Yes, i am a toshiba enthusiast. APPLE and Macintosh? What the heck are they?

What the heck are they? The overall design of qosmio is just totally impeccable. Some people, can not tolerate the bold design on lid, and the overall red colour scheme. It does not bother me. If something is going to be capable for lan gaming parties, it might as well have that show pony image. Personally i love the design and colour of my Qosmio gaming beast. It is good to take pride in something, so you might as well show it off. I gave a few user opinions a perusal on certain forums. So much negativity which is sad. \" It\'s too expensive!\" \" Looks like a hot rod\" Yes admittedly it has a bold presence. But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My work is a tad grubby and physically demanding. I put a lot of effort, into working towards an objective. Henceforth that ambition was the toshiba gaming laptop. I am in that fifties age group, where peoples negativity about the toshiba, on other forums is seen as childish and moronic. I don\'t care that it was expensive. As regards aesthetics, the design of qosmio and colouring scheme is quite acceptable. I am originally a memorial mason and sculptor by trade. So as you can imagine, a harmonious balance in designs are important to me. Had my first glimpse of the Qosmio at a store. From the rear elevation and including the top, sides and front perspective the design caught my artistic stonemason inner self. The software and hardware specs of Qosmio are important, but the overall shape also enticed me. It is impeccable, and i will never regret purchasing this finely crafted laptop.
