The Lenovo ThinkPad X200s is an addition to the X200 series with some changes made. The 9 cell battery has been replaced by a 6 cell Lithium battery for 3 to 4 hours backup. Also, the model brings back the Touchpad which is not there is the X200. The ThinkPad can now be protected using the FingerPrint Reader Technology. Overall, the computer has brings back all the features that X200 series, but at a cost – reduced battery strength.

Built around the Intel Centrino II technology, the Lenovo X200s features a range of connectivity points. It has Bluetooth for local wireless connectivity. The laptop also carries an Infra red point that can be used for very short distance wireless connectivity. Apart from these two, it features a wireless LAN point that can be used to connect to the local LAN. If you want to connect directly to the internet without wires, you can use the Wireless Network Interface Card. Not only these, Lenovo X200s also has USB as well as a MODEM and an Ethernet card.
