About Fujitsu U820 Laptop
It’s small yet nifty! Another entry into the ‘tablet notebook’ segment, Fujitsu U820 can be rightly called an upgrade of the previous tablet screen notebooks like the U810. The laptop open up to a 5.6 inch screen display, a keyboard (that sports an extra row of functional keys and a pair of lights to illuminate it) with a pointing stick that locates itself above the keyboard with mouse buttons on the opposite end.
An exceptional feature of this notebook is the in-built GPS- this, is hard to be seen in notebook forget tiny tots like the U820. The built-in Garmin receiver has preloaded maps of U.S and Canada. It works fine and if you need better signal you could even plug-in an external antenna to the microphone jack! This is simply ingeniously clever.
The battery life of the laptop is very good and lasts for about four and a half hours. The 1.6 GHz Intel Atom runs fine and the memory too is a decent 1 GB. The Windows vista and the 1 GB Ram however, don’t quite compliment each other greatly and the user is left with few snags here and there. The price could have been more reasonable, although at $1099 it’s still a worthy bet given in some awesome features.
