The Asus U2E is yet another entertainment laptop from ASUStek. Compared to the other laptops in the market, the model is priced in the middle range while offering such features as built in Wi-Fi point. Weighing only 3 lbs, the laptop falls under the category of Ultra-Slim notebooks.
Powered by the Intel Dual core 64 bit processor, the model incorporates a L2 type cache for holding up to 2 MB of data. The cache, along with the Intel Dynamic Processor technology, offers high-speed multi-tasking. The 2 MB RAM contained in the package can be increased to 4 GB. The RAM offers a speed of 557 MHz and is based on GM965 Express chipset. The internal permanent storage is a portable SATA enabled HDD of 120 GB. For more storage, you can use a variety of compatible plug and play external storage devices including pen drives. The model also has a DVD RW.
The laptop supports a range of wireless networks that can be accessed by the built in FAX MODEM and Ethernet card (wired). For wireless connectivity it holds WWAN point, Bluetooth point and a WLAN point. Other than these, you can always use your cell phones or any external MODEM HUB to connect. The built-in Wi-Fi point offers you connectivity from any place that has a wireless hotspot.
