About Asus N10Jc Laptop
This laptop is designed in a better way in comparison to the other usual notebooks, with a better paint scheme and not to mention, the chrome accents. The slight tinge of ruggedness in the design can be overlooked due to the presence of other ‘nice’ features like the two toggle switches (it’s a fingernail exercise in a way!). The Asus N10Jc laptop is slim on account of the battery being placed in the front side rather than putting it right below the laptop.
The display has good brightness and vibrancy along with an above average variety of viewing angles that doesn’t quite stress your eyes during long hours. However, the resolution of this 10.2 inch glossy LED-backlit 1024x600 LCD WSVGA display is quite low. The keyboard layout is different! Now!’ different’ can be a huge letdown at times, especially if one’s used to the usual layouts! The touchpad is quite good and the model is even equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
Technically, the laptop runs on an Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor with NVIDIA 900M GS with 256 MB DDR2 memory and Intel GMA950. Now, when we decode it to the performance, the outcome is an average gaming experience and an above average video-viewing time!
For the parting words -its pros include the good battery life, Expresscard slot for expansion, improved cooling, HDMI output and cons should be the ‘not usual’ keyboard layout, the not so over the top performance even with dedicated graphics and the high price tag ($649!).
