The product employs the power of Intel Centrino (Montevina mobile platform) Core Duo, so that you can perform multitasking. The Display and Camera
In its attempt to offer the best in the entertainment, the ASUS M70 Series carries a massive LED display of 17 inches! The screen can display multi million colors with 24-bit color depth. This means you can watch real life images on the laptop. The display is the best for viewing movies from the internet or the local DVD drive. The redraw is so fast that you experience real time gaming experience. You need not wait to get the image drawn at any point of your game, so you play uninterrupted.
The display is powered by NVIDIA GE Force Graphics driver just to increase the clarity and depth of the images to make it more real. The Display has its own 512 MB of memory for faster operations. Just above the display is a camera of 1.3 MP that can be used as a webcam. The webcam is rotatable in most models under ASUS M70 Series so you can capture fine quality images. You can also capture HDTV resolution videos and play them back on the laptop display or use the TV out to playback the video on your TV, bigger than 17 inches.
The Interior of ASUS M70 Series
The ASUS M70 Series carries processors varying from 2.1 GHz to 2.6 GHz depending upon the model you buy. Each notebook PC carries a minimum of 2 GB RAM with 320 GB SATA enabled HDD. The newer versions are coming with Windows Vista preloaded that makes extensive use of the SATA feature. The SATA feature cannot be easily accessed on the XP computers but you can use the HDD though as normal ATA HDD.
For network connectivity, the ASUS M70 Series offers Gigabit Ethernet Card, Wireless LAN points as well as Bluetooth. The series also use 56Kbps internal MODEM for wired networks. With all these features, the ASUS M70 laptops weigh not more than 9 lbs and run on an 8-cell battery.
