For sure, Asus G50Vt isn’t for every one out there! There’ll surely be a divide in terms of the likeability of the product-Asus G50Vt i.e. while some may like it some may just scoff it off for valid reasons!

The laptop opens up to a 15.6 inch display and is powered by 2.26 GHz Intel Centrino 2 Duo mobile Processor and Nvidia’s power-packed GeForce 9800M GS graphics card with 512MB RAM. Not to mention, the laptop’s redundant with 4GB PC-5300 DDR-2 RAM and a hard drive of 320 GB. Its also home to a secondary LCD screen independent of the full display, which can be used for viewing stuffs along with the full display (but not the same content!).

Pros

The Asus G50t’s strength lies in its technical details. Technically sound, this laptop is a beauty in terms of performance. What’s more praiseworthy is that with such a killer performance it’s priced at a low $1295 (and you thought it was in the $2000 bracket, huh?). The design impresses to some extent, especially with plenty of options for input and output.

Cons

The designers probably didn’t try lifting the laptop during their design process! The laptop is heavy and bulky too. The styling is odd and way too loud. In an era when ‘slim is in’, this laptop is like a retro package of contemporary performance! The poor battery life is another major letdown.
