i HAVE HAD ONE FOR 3 YEARS now, and like a billion other laptop owners with an nvidia 8600 series gpu, mine fried, luckily i have a warranty from best buy- problem is their not even fixing it completely, when i approach them with all the documentation in the world regarding the whole nvidia problem all they say is" well sorry, all we can do is replace the motherboard/gpu with the exact same thing( which WILL fail) , ASUS is brushing me off even though they even admit it is a problem, and nvidia wont even admit that their card is the root of the problem. So now i have a laptop that has a " known " defect in its GPU and NO ONE will stand up and make it right, and in final from now on- never again will i shop at best buy, never again an ASUS laptop, and NEVER an NVIDIA product- NONE of them is making it right, BUT!!! HP and DELL are taking care of their customers with this defect, so hey I WILL spend my money with them.
