Secured by the FingerPrint Reader technology, the Asus F8Va employs Intel Centrino II technology for better performance. The laptop is just 1.5 inch high and 5.5 lbs heavy so you can carry it anywhere you go. The mid-priced model has Bluetooth, WLAN and WWAN point for wireless connectivity. Alternatively, one can use the FAX MODEM or the inbuilt Ethernet card for wired connections.
The Asus F8Va runs on the Intel dual core processor 64 bit with the peak speed of 2.5 GHz. It holds a L2 type cache that can hold 6 MB of data while the bus speed is 1066 MHz! The RAM is SD type and can hold up to 4 GB of data, which is the maximum capability of the computer. As permanent storage, it contains a portable SATA enable HDD of 320 GB capacity.
As you open the lid of the laptop, you get a display of 14 inches with a max resolution of 1440 by 900 WXGA that supports both PAL and NTSC videos. The display has a dedicated Video memory of 1 GB and is powered by the Splendid Display Intelligence technology. There is an integrated camera of 1.3 MP just above the display.
