Asus F8 Series
The Asus F8 has been launched with a view on the entertainment and gaming needs of the consumer. The stylish and elegant notebook computer incorporates a range of features that help the user play games, listen to music, capture video, and still images, playback on the laptop etc. The main aim of the Asus F8 Series is to cater to the users who want more than just basic computing.
The exterior
The notebook computer has an Infusion chassis surface. The Infusion chassis is created with a special technology that is used to create scratchproof laptop surfaces. The motifs are included in the chassis itself so that they become an indispensible part of the surface and offer it the glitter (shine) that does not fade away with time. The technology is used to create laptop surfaces that are resistant to dust and other harmful elements. The Infusion chassis and the surface thereof offers a great way to carry it across the road and offers pleasure to work on as the surface is not hard.
The Display and Camera
Asus F8 series carries 14.1-inch display on the top lid. The display is able to produce millions of color at 24-bit depth so as to create real life images. The base is the favorite Intel’s Santa Rosa platform. The notebook also carries a dedicated video RAM by NVIDIA. The graphics too is powered by NVIDIA GE Force, the best for gaming and rich multimedia experience.
Just above the display is a webcam of 1.3 MP that doubles up as a video camera to capture videos at SDVD/HDTV quality. You can capture and replay the pictures using the inbuilt software. You may also edit the video using third party software before you play back the video on the laptop or on your HDTV using the TV out function.
The Interior of the Asus F8 Series
Based on the Intel PM965 chipset, the laptop carries Intel Core 2 Duo T series processor with up to 1 GB of internal cache! The models in the series carry 2GB to 4 GB of RAM. There is no limit to external storage as apart from the inbuilt removable 160GB SATA hard drive, you can use any number of external USB plug and play storage devices.
The F8 laptop series have Intel Wireless Wi-Fi 4965AGN modules, so that you can connect to the internet from any of the internet hotspots available. The series also features a high-speed WLAN connection in addition to the Bluetooth. The computer is a must have for people who want multimedia videos and gaming at its best.
