The speakers are located on the lower part above the keyboard. The touchpad can be deactivated at the press of a button so that you can use the optical mouse in case you are new to touchpad.
The touchpad is located to offer you feather touch comfortable typing. There is ample place for palm rest so you need not strain all your hands while typing. The keyboard is compact one and you can cover the entire keys using the two palms only. There are 12 special keys that act as shortcuts to launch and stop programs such as Internet browser and media players. The touchpad is also fully customizable.
Computing Power
The ASUS F6 Series also employs the Intel Dual core processor that runs at 2.4 GHz to 2.6 GHz depending upon the model you buy. The internal cache is also dependant on the model, the minimum being 512 MB, which is more than enough to speed up the internal operations of the computer. The internal memory is 4GB (2 GB x 2 modules). There is no limit for external storage as the laptop supports almost every type of external plug and play storage devices. To sum up, the ASUS F6 Series is for people who do not want to use a high cost computer for gaming etc but a cheaper model for basic computing and browsing the internet.
