About Acer Travelmate 6593 Laptop
Built on the Intel Centrino technology, the Acer Travelmate 6593 is ideal for carrying around with a weight of only 6.5 pounds. Available in Silver-Gray, the laptop has an executive look with only the Acer monogram on the top. The bottom of the laptop has a range of stickers that proves the energy compliance and the eco-friendliness of the laptop.
Secured by the TPM chip and the FingerPrint Reader (TM) technology, the laptop focuses more on computing and connectivity needs rather than on entertainment though it has provisions for the latter too. Running on Intel Dual Core 64 bit Processor, the computer can reach a speed slightly higher than 2.5 GHz owing to the Intel Dynamic Acceleration and the L2 cache that can hold up to 3MB of data.
The Acer Travelmate 6593 comes with 4GB RAM which is the maximum capacity of the model. You also get a portable SATA controlled HDD that can hold up to 250 GB. The model supports a range of external storage devices too. The unit includes a DVD RW as well as a 5 in 1 chip reader.
The computer has an LCD display of 15 inch in TFT Matrix. It can display images in resolutions up to 1280 x 800 pixels. The display is powered by Intel GMA Technology (TM). Along the LCD display, there is a webcam with two integrated microphones and two speakers powered by Acer 3DSonic (TM) sound technology.
