my acer 4420 laptop has a problem. the battery gets so hot, it burnt blisters on my abdamon. And when I tried calling the company, call was routed to South India. dude couldn't speak English very well, I could not understand him.So nothing was done, battery still gets hot enough to burn. I am not very happy with Acer. my oppinion is they don't back thier products.

I have the 4620 myself, but am just setting up a friends brand new 4420. Love the screen, and feel of the keyboard. Also, it seems way more responsive than mine, so while it is smaller (not always a bad thing) I think I might just prefer this to my own model. AM having fun with it...

Has anybody purchased this notebook? My old one fried and I'm looking to go as inespensive as I can. Best Buy has this on sale for 399.99 right now. Seems like a pretty good deal.
