has been out 0f 0rder more time than in use
so far have spent 100.00 in postage etc sent discs knowing this computer has no optical drive
wont take discs back . cant get to speak to anyone with authority so complaints are never passed costco have been helpful & are offering my money back.cant wait to get rid of this piece of rubbish

Dear Sirs,
As one of my friend recommended I bought a 2807 AACR laptop E725 Model from Modern Computers, Nakodia Complex, NO 32, NARASINGAPURAM STREET, CHENNAI 600002, on 20Th April 2010.Vide Invoice No CA 780.
The Sales Manager didn't supplied the cover of the laptop and asked me to come next day or make a call to confirm the availability of the cover and come and collect.
On 21st April I went their and again on 22ND and the Sales manager said he will bring the cover to my house at 10.30 P.M., an add hour for a man like me who is in Sixty's.
I made several calls to the Modern Computers but all in vain.
From this I assume that
1) The AACR is not having a cover which they should have supplied along with the machine.
2) Covers are not a good quality.
3) The AACR thinks they can make their clients to run Pillar to post to get the cover.
I am sure the Company may be good but not their dealers.
Dealers are trying to push the name of AACR down so that once a buyer bought a machine it will see him in a ditch and make him regret he bought a machine from AACR brand!!
Now I close this letter hoping that the said Dealer will supply me the Laptop cover to my house or if they feel it is not possible at least the AACR will supply.
If the dealer has sold the cover separately to some one else for a premium, let them come out openly.
In conclusion I feel I was cheated by AACR!

I purchased an Acer laptop in April this year. After only 3 months , I closed and picked it up and heard a pop , Realising it was the screen , The cover is very flimsy. When asking about the warranty , I was told it was not covered.I would not recommend this or any Acer product to anyone, They do not honour their warranty and would strongly suggest you NEVER purchase an extended warranty with them as it is money you should spend on a company who will honour a simple warranty such as Dell.
