I will onlly own an acer because if you mess it up then it will allow you to click a key and restore it to Factory restore. Just like new as when you first bought it. I dont have to pay a pc repair man. No other pc allows you to do that. We are not talking about system restore but something differnt. I have used it many times. It is possible that you did not buy a new PC but one that was referbished which was the first mistake. So only buy a new one. I have owned 3 over the past 20 years for all of the different people in my family. I liked the older white ones with the whte keyboard which was easier to see than the new black key boards. also I liked the heave whte plastice ones as they are stronger than the metal one . the metal ones get scratched when using it with your watch on. as it drag across it and scratches the metal part where the the white or gray ones do no and they dont make a noise when your watch goes across it. I will only own an acer which I think gateway has now bought out.
